Vaniqa
Vaniqa is a topical cream approved by the FDA for the use of hair removal on the face and chin for women. Vaniqa cream has not been tested on men, so they should not use it. Vaniqa is designed for external use only and it should never be ingested.
Vaniqa works by slowing the growth of the hair from the follicles. It does not claim to permanently remove the hair it merely reduces the amount of hair.
Your doctor will direct you where to apply the Vaniqa and how often to apply, but it is usually applied eight hours apart. When you are getting ready to apply the Vaniqa you'll first want to wash your hands and then use your usual hair removal method on the area. You'll then want to wait awhile before applying Vaniqa to the area. You can apply makeup or sunscreen to the area, but wait for a bit after to allow the Vaniqa to be properly absorbed by the skin before applying anything on top of it. Don't wash the area where you have applied the Vaniqa for at least four hours. Try not to get the medicine in your mouth or eyes. You may see a bit of redness, or feel a tingly sensation if you apply Vaniqa to skin that is irritated. If the Vaniqa causes skin irritation, let your doctor know.
You should keep using Vaniqa even if the results aren't apparent right away. It will work slowly over time sometimes it will take as long as 4 weeks or more to see the results. If there is no improvement at all in six months, then you should tell your doctor and stop using it. Vaniqa does not work on everyone.
If you do a search on the Internet, you will find some web sites offering Vaniqa without prescription, but it was designed to be used under the supervision of a doctor, so in those cases it's 'buyer beware.' As it is a prescription drug, you should only buy Vaniqa from your doctor. There is not currently a generic Vaniqa available.
You may be able to get Vaniqa cream coupons from your doctor, and you may find a Vaniqa discount, but be careful when buying prescription drugs online.
If Vaniqa works on your skin, Vaniqa hair removal is a painless, albeit slow, method of removing unwanted facial hair. More specific information about Vaniqa medicine is available from your doctor or pharmacist.
